Delete Your Account — Salūs Rooms

Your right to erasure (UK GDPR Article 17). You can request deletion of your Salūs account and all personal data we hold about you at any time, free of charge. Choose the route that works for you below. We process all requests within 30 days; most are completed within 24 hours.

Option 1 — Delete from inside the app (recommended)

If you have the Salūs Rooms app installed:

Open the Salūs Rooms app and sign in.
Tap More in the bottom navigation.
Tap Account.
Scroll to Delete Account and tap Yes, Delete on the confirmation panel.

Option 2 — Email deletion request

If you don't have the app or prefer email, send a deletion request to [email protected]. Include the email address you used to sign up. We will reply with a confirmation link to verify the request, then permanently delete your account.

What gets deleted

Your account record (email, sign-in identity).
Your subscription and entitlement records.
Your session play history and progress data.
Any preferences, saved sessions, or local content tied to your account.
Any device tokens registered for push notifications.
Your visitor analytics records linked to your account, including the anonymous visitor identifier in your browser.

What is retained, and why

A small amount of data is retained where we are legally required to do so:

Payment records — PayPal, Apple, and Google retain transaction records for the period required by tax and consumer-protection law (typically 7 years in the UK). These are held by the payment provider, not by Salūs, and are subject to their own privacy policies.
Aggregated, anonymous analytics — page-view counts, anonymous device-type data, and aggregated session totals that are no longer linked to your identity.

Cancelling an active subscription

Deleting your account does not automatically cancel an active paid subscription billed by PayPal, Apple, or Google Play. Cancel the subscription before requesting deletion:

iOS / Apple: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Salūs Rooms → Cancel.
Android / Google Play: Play Store app → profile icon → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → Salūs Rooms → Cancel.
Web / PayPal: PayPal account → Settings → Payments → Automatic payments → Salūs Rooms → Cancel.

Timeline

Most deletions complete within 24 hours of confirmation. Our maximum response time is 30 days from receipt of the request, in line with UK GDPR Article 12(3).

If you can't sign in

If you've forgotten which email you used or can no longer access it, email [email protected] from any address with as much detail as possible (sign-up date, last-used device). We will verify your identity through alternative means and process the deletion.
