Best for: the guilt of feeling better after loss

This session is for the second spring after a loss — the moment when something inside begins, almost without permission, to lean towards life again, and the flinch that arrives with it. Using the image of a river thawing in late winter, Becky guides you to locate the precise place in the body where the guilt of feeling better tends to live, and to keep it company with the breath. You'll practise two paired phrases — 'I am allowed to thaw' on the in-breath, 'loving them and living are not opposites' on the out — and hold one small forward thing alongside the person you've lost. A quiet meditation for the uncelebrated grief work of allowing both to be true.
