One Rung at a Time
Best for: avoidance and facing feared situations
We all have a thing we walk the long way round to avoid, and avoidance only lets that fear grow taller in the empty space we leave behind. Drawing on graded exposure, a core CBT technique, this session helps you name what you have been sidestepping and break it into a ladder of small, achievable steps. You will practise identifying the very first rung, the smallest move that is still genuinely yours to make, and learn how facing it shrinks the fear instead of feeding it. By the end you will have one concrete, doable step rather than a wall of dread.

Warm and unhurried, with a low steady ease, the slow exhale at the end of a long day.
