Best for: uncovering the beliefs behind anxious thoughts

This CBT session uses the downward-arrow technique to move past surface worries and reach the core belief underneath them. Rather than disputing whether a thought is true, you'll ask it what it actually believes about you — following each answer one step deeper until the real fear becomes visible. Working slowly and without judgement, you'll learn to recognise the unexamined assumptions that walk in unchallenged. By the end you'll have a quieter, more honest relationship with the thoughts you usually just obey.
