Salt Return

A blizzard traps six strangers in a disused seismic station high on an alpine ridge, the radio dead and the valley out of reach. To call for help they have to coax sound from the mountain itself, striking a slab of diorite, driving iron bolts into the cabin wall, sounding an old brass whistle into the snow. A patient story of people reading rock, weather, and one another until the valley below finally answers.
