Threshold Pause - Salus Rooms

13 min

Best for: mindful transitions, pausing between tasks, everyday presence

Threshold Pause is a quiet mindfulness session about the small seams most days rush straight through: a doorway crossed without noticing, the moment after a kettle clicks off, the pause before the next breath arrives, the still-warm car before the door opens. Becky guides attention into these ordinary thresholds, not as an escape from the day, but as places already built into it. Through breath awareness and familiar images from home, stairs, kitchens, phones, and rooms, the practice helps the nervous system recognise brief pockets of stillness that do not require a cushion, a retreat, or extra time. It is a grounded session for arriving more fully in the spaces between tasks.
