Titan Rain

55 min

Best for: Deep sleep, winding down

A sleep story set on Titan, the largest moon of Saturn. The air is the colour of aged amber. The gravity is light. The rain is not water.

Walk across vast plains of organic sediment where methane falls in drops so slow they seem reluctant to land. Follow ancient channels carved by a liquid colder than anything on Earth, through dunes shaped by winds you cannot feel, toward the shore of Kraken Mare — a methane sea wider than the Black Sea and utterly still.

No tide moves it. No wind disturbs its surface. The rain adds to it one drop at a time, and the silence deepens until it is the only thing left.
